Companies House doesn't link / sync

'my data isn't syncing'

From time to time, we'll get clients saying that they're client's data isn't pulling down the information from Companies House.

First thing to check will be in  your settings - it's all part of the basic set up but it sits at the bottom of the screen and often gets missed as people want to get started asap!

Head to Settings - Company Information

Head right down to Country of Origin and make sure you have England and Wales entered - then SAVE

You'll then find that this will then sync your client data to Comopanies for you to back into each client one by one, and select 'import from companies house'

That's one option, or why not wait until midnight and let Engager pull down the info in one go from Companies House.

All you then need to do is approve the changes when you log back in the next day

***Please note***
We will never update your data automatically - we would never override your details without consent, hence this feature.

Within the list, you can see the client, the area that has been identified that has a change / discrepancy, and all you’ll need to do is review and then accept the recommended change.
