Our top tip is to create a fee review service that reoccurs when you set it to for each service, make sure you mark it as an internal service so it doesn’t show on letters of engagements, then do the review when the job appears on the deadlines screen.
To carry out a review we suggest reading through the services you have turned on for the client and checking they still need them and if they needs any new ones. As you do this check the answers you have put for each service to ensure they are still correct. Transaction volumes and turnovers often change as do number of employees so worth keeping them up to date. Once done then press save at the bottom.
The next step is to regenerate the LOE which will now be populated with the new services and/or pricing.
If fees haven’t changed then you can just email the client saying you have done the review and no changes are required at this time but we recommend x y z services be considered, here’s a link to a diary to book a call to discuss.
Please remember all the advice we give is based on our experience as firm owners and not us stating this how it should be done, we all operate our businesses our own way and this is just one option.
